Route 2: Tramuntana Lighthouse
The itinerary
This route is 3.88 km, has an incline of 69 m and takes one and a half hours. The path is uneven, clay-like and rocky, along which there is a view to both sides of the island.
Looking towards the Mallorcan coast, ending at the Tramuntana lighthouse, you can see Es Freu in all its immensity on the western face of the Serra de Tramuntana, hence the lighthouse's etymology.
Moreover, thanks to a small viewpoint, you can use binoculars or your very own eyes to experience the acrobatics of the Falco eleonorae and the imposing Pandion haliaetus among the sublime cliffs of this northwest face of the island.
